Meet Lindsey our ambassador, fan, and super contributor to our creative content. Read about her on our Facebook fanpage.
Lindsey is Samovar’s scribe. She writes for the Samovar newsletter, the Samovar Catalog and many of the tea descriptions on our site. When she’s not writing for Samovar, she spends much of her time interviewing tea industry’s top brass and tasting teas for other tea writing projects (including articles for About.com and World Tea News). She says, “My goal is to ignite and fuel a passion for quality tea. I believe in spreading the joy that a great cup of tea can bring one reader at a time.”Based in Portland, Oregon, Lindsey loves cycling (she refuses to own a car unless she has to), sustainability (Did we mention the car thing?), great food and travel. In previous incarnations, she was an installation artist in North Carolina and a (tea) tour guide in New York City. Like her location, her favorite tea changes frequently, but perennial favorites include Matcha Hekisui, Royal Garland Oolong, and Yunnan Golden Buds.Check out her website and Twitter account to read her musings all about tea!
